Criminal mischief
Police are not sure what the letters BTD and ALF stand for, but they have been found spray painted in bright green paint on several city homes and cars this past week.
On Oct. 23 the letters were found spray painted on the front steps of a home on Fornelius Avenue. They were found on the driver side door of a 2004 Cadillac on Oct. 23 at 9:28 a.m. also on Fornelius Avenue. Later on that same night the green paint was found on a Mustang parked on Fenlon Boulevard and then again on a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu parked on Sylvan Avenue. Police speculate that the letters could be gang-related and are asking anyone with information to call the detective bureau at 973-470-5908.

He was stopped and after failing the field sobriety tests was arrested and taken to police headquarters where he was charged with DWI after posting results of .11 on the breath alcohol test. While speaking with Youssef the officer detected signs of intoxication and asked him if he had been drinking. According to police reports, Youssef said he does not drink. The officer then detected the odor of burned marijuana and questioned the driver, who said he had taken prescription medications and provided the prescriptions. The officer reports show, then observed Youssef throw an item to the side of the road. The officer retrieved it and found it to be a bag containing marijuana, reports show.
Youssef was arrested following failed field sobriety tests and was taken to police headquarters where he took a breath test which did not show intoxication, but he was still charged for driving under the influence. When the officer checked his possessions, reports show they found a number of identification papers with different names.
