The Senior Wheels
USA program makes available power (electric) wheelchairs to senior citizens (65 years old and up) and the permanently disabled at no cost to the recipient, if they qualify.
The power wheelchairs are provided to those who cannot walk and cannot self-propel a manual wheelchair and who meet the additional guidelines of the program. No deposit is required.
If the patient’s need is for use in the home, call for more information to see if they qualify. Call 800- 246-6010.
Roche Retirees
The Roche Retiree Club’s
next meeting will be Saturday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. in building 77 (frequently called the chapel) at 340 Kingsland St., Nutley. Parking is available in the lot next to the building. After a short meeting Mike Heaphy accompanied by Lester Wilson will present a country western music show. There will be refreshments and time to talk to old friends after the show.
