Lakeview AARP 1995 will have its monthly social Oct. 15 beginning at 10 a.m. where Halloween bags will be prepared to distribute to the children of Kilbarchen.
A trash and treasure sale will also be held. Bring your white elephants to be sold as treasures to others.
The Christmas party will be held Dec. 15 at the Mountainside Inn.

St. Mary’s Hospital Guild meets the first Monday of the month in the Café Maria conference room at noon in the hospital.

The Roche Retiree Club will meet Saturday, Oct. 11 in Bldg. 77 (frequently called the chapel), 340 Kingsland Avenue, Nutley at 1 p.m. You may park in the lot next to the building.
After a short meeting the Mike Luipersbeck Trio will play tunes from the Great American Songbook including jazz and Latin favorites. There will be refreshments and time to talk to old friends after the show.

St. Paul Leisure Club
St. Paul’s Leisure Club meets the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 1 p.m. in the church hall at 1 p.m. Anyone 55 years old and older is invited to join the club. You need not be a parishioner of St. Paul’s.

The Clifton Seniors Association will hold its next meeting Tuesday, Oct. 21 at the Boys & Girls Club. Eddie Selicano from Lincoln Park Renaissance will be the guest speaker. He will explain the programs that are held at the Renaissance. Refreshments will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The business meeting begins at 1 p.m.

Golden Circle
The St. John Kanty Golden Circle will hold its regular meetings on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m. in the church hall, 49 Speer Ave. Programs include speakers that choose topics of interest to seniors.

senior wheels
The Senior Wheels USA program makes available power (electric) wheelchairs to senior citizens (65 years old and up) and the permanently disabled at no cost to the recipient, if they qualify.
The power wheelchairs are provided to those who cannot walk and cannot self-propel a manual wheelchair and who meet the additional guidelines of the program. No deposit is required.
